Pop Rocks Cheesecake Cowl
The Pop Rocks Cheesecake Cowl is inspired by one of my other creative loves -- experimenting with food! When I was a university student, I was asked by a friend to make a cheesecake with popping candy inside for a 90s-themed party. I did it, and although it is not fancy cuisine, it certainly tasted true to the theme. You can try my ridiculous experimental baking using the recipe included in the pattern document!
This comfortable cowl uses a simple lace pattern to add little bursts of excitement to a stockinette background. Worked in the round in a smooshy DK weight, this is a quick and satisfying knit!
Twisted ribbing at the edges of the cowl help the edges lay nicely in place. Corresponding written instructions are provided for the chart.
Intended for speckled yarns, this pattern works with a wide range of colourways, but since the rounds are all the same length, note that variegated yarns will pool.
